Downloading a Product ISO File

You can download a product ISO file for the Proficy product you purchased using the link provided in your order email or directly from the GE Vernova Support website. This process ensures you receive the correct version of the product, enabling installation or deployment across your systems. The ISO file contains a complete image of the software, which is essential for setting up or updating your product.

1. After successfully purchasing Proficy product(s), you will receive an order email from GE Vernova containing the activation codes for your product(s) and a link to download the product software. Click the download link Customer Portal > Orders to obtain your product software.
   Note:

   If the link in the order email is not available, you can login directly to the GE Vernova Support website and proceed with the following steps.
2. Login using the same e-mail address that received the activation codes.
3. After successfully logging in, under the Customer Account dropdown, select Software Order Download.
   
   

   The Product List page displays the products available for download in your account.

   Note:

   You can use the Product Search option in the left pane to find the software you want to download.
4. Select the product you want to download (for example: Historian, as displayed in the following Product List page).
   
   

   The Product Information page displays available versions, starting with the latest.

5. Select the version of the product you want to download (example: <productname version>).
   
   

   The Software Terms and Conditions screen appears.

6. Select I Agree to accept the Software Terms and Conditions.

   The Product Download page appears, displaying details such as file description, size, and name.

7. Select the required ISO file to download the Proficy product software (example: <productname_version_language.iso>). The following example shows the Proficy product ISO for the Historian 2024 product.
   
   

   Additionally, if the latest licensing software is not installed, download and install Common Licensing (CommonLicensing_<version>.exe) on your machine.

   Note:

   • It is recommended to download the latest version of the licensing software (CommonLicensing_<version>.exe) when downloading a Proficy product. For example, if you are downloading Historian product, also download the licensing software along with it. After downloading the Common Licensing software, install it by following the instructions in the Install Proficy Software section. For instructions on how to install individual Proficy products, refer to the product-specific online help.
   • You can download your Proficy product and licensing software in any order. However, to activate the Proficy product, the licensing software must be installed to enable product license activation.
